Welcome to Medicine Wheel Path

You are the driver behind the wheel!

Medicine Wheel Path offers cultural presentations in the following areas:

Aboriginal people in Canada
Rachèle delivers oral and interactive workshops on who the 1.5 million Aboriginal population is composed of in Canada: the 3 distinct groups: First Nations (status and non status), Métis and Inuit, their similarities, differences, their resiliency and hope for the future.

The Sacred Circle, The Medicine Wheel, The Talking Stick
With the use of the Talking Stick Rachèle demonstrates how sharing in the Sacred Circle and following the teachings of the Medicine Wheel can provide you with the best healing tools and assist you in attaining your goals and your dreams.

7 Grandfather Teachings
Through Medicine Wheel Path, Rachèle explains that all you have to do to be happy and spread happiness around you is to follow the Seven Sacred Teachings: Love, Respect, Humility, Wisdom, Honesty, Courage/Bravery and Truth.

Protecting Mother Earth and Her sacred waters
Rachèle has a very strong connection to the land and a genuine respect for all lives that inhabit it.  She understands the importance of preserving it and the urgency to unite all of our efforts to protect it from destruction.  She explains the devastating effects of fracking practices and pollution on Mother Earth and its sacred water, and makes the protection of the environment a priority for Medicine Wheel Path.

The Intergenerational Effects of the Indian Act and Residential Schools
Through her work at Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health, Rachèle has worked directly with Residential Schools survivors and with over 120 families.  She witnessed the devastating impact of the Indian Act and Residential Schooling on the lives and health of Aboriginal people.  Her continuous involvement and dedication to the Aboriginal community makes her a passionate advocate and speaker on the importance of returning to the original teachings.

Her motto is:  “Our culture is our salvation”

Our culture is our salvation

Medicine Wheel Path promotes Algonquin Elder William Commanda's vision for a Culture of Peace in a Circle of All Nations.
